Covid 19 - Changes made to the clinic

Written by: Aisling Lalor, Jan 17, 2021

What a year 2020!

We all faced challenges during the first lockdown! Fear of the virus as it spread rapidly from countries and then through communities.

At Aisling Lalor Dental-Skin we responded, acted and rapidly adapted!

We went from actively keeping you smiling to being closed and only providing emergency treatment from March 2020 to July 2020.

24/7 on-call service to providing you with remote advice on how to carry out remedial 'self dental care' at home.

Communicating with you via social media and emails to keep you up to date.

Waiting patiently on the executive at Stormont to give us guidance.

Training online to provide a better experience for you on our return to the clinic.

We engaged with other local business to support each other, promote each other and create a small business community. Probably one of the best outcomes of Covid. Community Spirit!

We prepared the surgery for your safe return following the guidance of our executive and dental advisory boards. Screens, social distancing, screening patients , PPE (personal protective equipment), in house training and much much more.

We ran a charity raffle for the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Belfast City Hospital, supported by Nicole Adams a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer herself. With your support we raised £2000. How amazing are all of you!

When we returned to the clinic, the team very nervous as were you. But you gave us great encouragement, support and lots of humour to fuel our fires throughout temporary lockdowns and much more. We can't thank you enough.

Our team has grown in order to offer you our loyal customers an even better service. We look forward to 2021 with hope of continuing to offer a personal service and even more treatments!

Change is inevitable, failure to adapt to change is inexcusable!
